I took a picture with an area in my yard that contain a numerous amount of plant species and even some insects.

Something Made of Keratin

Keratin: the structural protein of hair, nails, horns, hoofs, wool, feathers, and the outermost layers of skin.

In this picture I am pointing out my hair because it is made of keratin.

An Animal Dispersed Seed

An Animal Dispersed Seed: a seed that's spread by an animal.

I took a picture with a strawberry because animals eat strawberries then poop out the seed that then plants more strawberries.

A Population

Evidence of decomposition

Decomposition: the process of breaking down organic material.

I took a picture with a log the was decomposing.

Growth Rings

Growth Rings: a layer of wood formed around a plant in a period of time

I took a picture with a tree stump in my front yard that has growth rings.

Mutualism

Mutualism: when two organism of a different species benefit from each other.

I took a picture with a bee the was pollinating a plant  but I didn't want to get to close and get stung.

A Non-flying Insect

A Non-flying insect: an insect that doesn't fly. All insects are small air-breathing arthropods with a head, thorax, abdomen, and three legs.

In my backyard I have an artichoke plant that has ants on it. I took a picture with the ants.

An Arachnid: has four segmented legs and a body that is split into two parts (abdomen and cephalothorax).

I took a picture with a spider that was in my moms shower
